The collection bar, wide 130 cm and floating on the ground, is supported on each side by efficient tips equipped of pneumatic wheel that the operator, from the guide place, can hydraulically change in height. The gradual inclination of the CROP ELEVATOR CONVEYOR BELT, makes easier the plant slope without damaging the tomatoes.

The system is composed of 10 belts, provided with plastic fingers, positioned the one at 15 cm from the other one to allow the tomatoes to fall with easiness on the below internal conveyor belt. Two potentiometers positioned on the dashboard, allow the operator to find the correct relationship between frequency and stroke of the belts to execute the delicate detachment operation with every type of tomato, round and long.

It’s currently the only field sorter that reads and discards both green tomatoes, earth and stones, while passing the leaf. It has also the function “accepts green tomato”, which allows, at the end of the collection, not to expel these berries continuing to discard all the impurities with the same efficiency. The control panel of the electronic sorter positionated above the driver dashboard, enables a better reading and the possibility to modify the parameters set without collection interruption.

Highly appreciated is the driving position, high and central to the picker belt, and the space available for operators on the sorting table, which can be up to 8 in configuration without electronic sorting. In addition to the multifunctional cloche and the dashboard with Check-Control function, the RPS harvester mounts, as standard, the efficient motorized roller located on the left field divider, which allows easy separation of the rows (bines) even in the presence of weeds.
