DISCOVER THE BENEFITS
CARO F
represents the ideal solution for vegetables collection for “fresh” market being equipped with manual sorting and boxes storage area.
It is equipped with extendable leveling side belts that, are rotated transversely to the direction of travel during the work phase and closed in silhouette, during transfers.
The use of the wagon allows a higher harvesting speed with significantly fewer binders than those used in manual harvesting.
It can be used for harvesting the following vegetables:
- Courgettes
- Aubergines
- Artichokes
- Cucumbers
- Peppers
- Melons
- Basket salads
- Other vegetables grown in the field
FIND OUT HOW IT’S DONE
During harvesting, the tractor-truck system proceeds through the field at a walking pace: the harvested product is deposited by the pickers on the side belts, which convey it to the central belt for sorting and encasing at the edge of the machine for the “fresh” market.
A new vision of the concept of vegetables collection.
The manual sorting area is one of the fundamental elements of the machine: the product, perfectly intact and blemishes free, is selected on the central conveyor belt equipped with soft palettes and placed in boxes directly on the machine.
The command console is on the top of the manual sorting platform.
The other fundamental element of the machine is represent by the large storage area in the rear side where “empty” and “full” boxes are stacked on their pallets.
Since the collection takes place at walking pace, a forklift from behind can move the pallets without interrupting the work of the pickers.
Having each conveyor belt arm an indipendent wingspan, you can work on both sides, on the single side or even in presence of obstacles.
Moreover, since each belt arm has a double articulation, the operator can adjust their height from the ground in according with the culture to be collected.
This system allowes to optimising collection speed and to minimising labour cost.
